An additional advantage of these binoculars is that they are light and handy. When sneaking up close to the animals, wanting to take the best shot, I can't afford heavy, uncomfortable equipment. It's enough that my camera with optics is the size of a small cannon. Water, dust and dirt resistance. It does a great job here as well. I've spent about 6 months with these binoculars in the field in a very demanding environment and there were no problems with it at all.
